Mid-Drive Motor

A mid-drive motor (also referred to as mid frame, centre, or crank motor) on an ebike is an electric motor positioned in the center of the bike frame, near the pedals. It offers balanced weight distribution, enhancing stability, higher torque than hub motors and enhanced control. This placement provides a more natural riding experience, with efficient power transfer and better handling on hills and rough terrain.
